World's First Undersea Restaurant - Ithaa Hilton Maldives

Ever wonder what it would be like, if fishes staring at you for eating their breed deliciously cooked by a chef through a glass. Well now you can experience it – The world’s first underwater sea restaurant, Ithaa Undersea Restaurant has opened in Maldives. Now you will have more companions at dinner than just fellow diners.
Location
Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is started by Hilton Maldives Resort and Spa on Rangali Island and costs around 5 million to build. The 9m long restaurant is made up of three 5 meter transparent arches made from acrylic 125mm thick and sits under a couple of meters of water at high tide. The Arches are the widest yet to be constructed underwater and sealed with each other by using special silicone sealant. The steel structure is protected by marine paint and zinc anodes.
The total weight of the structure is 175 tons and 85 tons of sand is put into it so stabilize it underwater. At one time the restaurant can host 14 diners.

The restaurant serves you four-course meal with 80 delicacies, ranging from traditional Maldivian food to European food. According to the chef talking to BBC, the whole experience can take around 4 hours of sumptuous eating and drinking.
So the next thing you should do this year on your special days is, book your tickets and do some fishy business without getting your feet wet.
